She may have been a very young one, as in “just hatched,” as they don't flutter around as much then and thus make it very easy for photographers to capture their beauty. What a blessing! I have a series with a new Lorquin's Admiral. He and I spent a good hour together; he would fly between a couple branches on a couple trees very close together, always returning to the same places, and once in a while circle around me. He became a friend and I loved him very much. :)
