Grant - this is a beautiful picture - do you study butterflies and take pictures of them ? I know you d never stick pins through them and put them on your wall :) but i love your pictures - just thought Id tell you
We were bush walking back from some Egyptian Glyphs? right here in Australia (Another story definitely) and there were many of these type, don't know their name yet but may find out.
I wonder if it is in fact a moth??? Not sure…moths can be nice too I presume.

you may not believe this, but a neighbor of mine has a brother who HAS stuck pins in THOUSANDS of insects. As a matter of fact, according to my neighbor, his brother's collection is one of the biggest in the world. The man has a fascination with bugs.

I love nature…every day my daughter and I are ready for anything, declaring each bug that we see upon our path.
